KITEBOARDING!!! What else is there? For over 15 years I've been taking on extreme sports to there full potential! Then I found my love, "KITEBOARDING!" The true "EXTREME SPORT!" HOW IT TOOK SO LONG TO FIND, ILL NEVER KNOW! from my first day putting up a "LEI" I knew I'd B "ADDICTED!" It didn't take long to realize, that this sport had great potential in our Area! Matt Thames, co founder of "S.O.K.A." & I talked for a few days about starting a local kite association, or club! southern Oregon kiteboarding association was the 1'st name that came to us. But to much work to take on! "the "association" anyway, at this time! we loved the name "S.O.K.A." though! finally, with a lot of options for the name. I suggested to matt "how about "ADDICTS" definitely fitting for the way we both felt towards our new found "ADDICTION" "SOUTHERN OREGON KITE ADDICTS" perfect we thought! So Matt promptly began the long task of setting up what would now be an evolving event & local kiting area, home site! "S.O.K.A' from then on we started the work! I began making S.O.K.A.. T-Shirt's & Matt was working on sticker designs! Keep an eye out for both! new shirt & stickers designs will be on the market soon! now I am dedicating my time & energy towards this ever-growing, & changing sport! always looking for new people to teach this "unreal" experience!
